Structured Cabling, Intercom & AV

The cable plant everything else in the building rides on, and the systems people actually hear: paging, intercom, bells and clocks, nurse call, mass notification, and sound in the gym, the cafeteria and the auditorium. Pathways get coordinated while the ceiling is still open, because that is the only time it is cheap.

What A Good Cabling Package Looks Like

Pathways and sleeves set with the framing and ceiling trades, before the grid goes in
Cable dressed and supported on its own pathway โ€” never laid on ceiling grid or ductwork
Labelling to the scheme the specification names, carried through the panel, the jack and the as-built
Certification results handed over as data, so the owner can re-test against them later

Licensing, Stated Plainly

Licensing is settled scope by scope before we bid. Where Michigan requires a licensed alarm or electrical contractor for a portion of the work, that portion is carried under the correct licence โ€” self-performed where ours covers it, or by a licensed partner named in our submission. Ask us on the specific package and you will get a straight answer before bid day, not after.
